More Tea Party
If you are a non-nasty candidate for any office, or a staffer for same, or a campaign manager for same: get yourself and your candidate to the next one of these. Bring a megaphone. Have your candidate tell the crowd that he/she is just as tired of this as they are. (This advice also works for people already in office.)
At the New York Tea Party yesterday, some guy named Alex Zablocki took the time to show up, say a few words, and pass out some postcards with his info on them. He’s apparently running for Public Advocate in New York. I have no idea what the Public Advocate does (advocates for the public?) or who he’s running against, but he’s got my vote. Because he took a couple hours out of his day and showed up.
